Manufacturer's Description
Got a laptop? What will you do if the hard-drive fails? Backup all those important files on a ByteStor "Dataferry" USB flash drive. Presentations, spreadsheets etc can be run straight from the drive. No need to copy them to your hard-drive. It's the perfect gift for anyone that owns a computer. Insert the flash drive into a computer's USB Socket. Drag and drop files - data, image, sound or any type of file - onto the flash drive and then remove the flash drive. The drive shows up with the next available drive letter. Insert the flash drive into another computer and all the files can be accessed instantly. It couldn't be easier. No drivers are needed. (Drive does not support Windows 98 SE.)

Neat and efficient5
My Bytestore 512MB pen drive gave up the ghost after a few years regular use so I decided to "upgrade" to a 16GB USB 20.0 drive particularly since the price was so good.
The transfer speed is excellent and there is ample storage space for my needs. I even used it to view large video files on my PS3 via the USB port.
The additional advantage is the case is so much slimmer than the previous Bytestore pen drive I had and fits easily into any of the three USB ports on my laptop even if the other two are occupied.
I would highly recommend this flash drive.

Massive Storage Capacity at a bargain price and NTFS or FAT32 ?5
All the Other reviews point out what a good purchase.

In the event that you would need to store a file larger than 4GB (although unlikely) and are not in the habit of just pulling out the USB drive without closing the files then formatting to NTFS is better than the FAT32 Format it is delivered as.

I keep reading in Forums that you cant format to NTFS through Windows XP but in fact you can. It is set to FAT32 by default.
To format to NTFS this is what you do (hope it is helpful).

If using XP Go to Control Panel-System-Device Manager, select your USB drive then select Properties and change the policies option of the USB Stick device to "Optimize for Performance".
The default is to optimize for Quick Removal, which restricts you to the FAT and FAT32 file system.
You need to restart the computer before you see if the FORMAT option of either FAT32 or NTFS as an option

Cheap and Quick5
Got it, found its formatted to be 15GB which is about right.
Transfer speeds of 15MB/s Write and 30MB/s Read.

All and all, pretty good. I had the EXACT version but was 1GB which I got 4 years ago. So in another 4 years... I'm looking forward to 100GB!
